Check out the Wild Strings book!!!

The UKHA’s Wild String festival exceeded it's original aim to unite harpists who are not on the traditional classical path and the festival reflected and celebrated the diverse musical path that many of today's harpists travel. All musical paths are truly open and possible with the harp.  The UKHA is proud to support this new direction of harping that many of today's harpists are exploring.

The UKHA Committee is extremely grateful to the Wild Strings Committee, in particular Brenda Dor-Groot and Steph West, for their hard work and vision.

With solos, duos, harp ensemble pieces and harp and voice, there’s something for everyone. The easiest pieces are around Grade 4/5 and the book also includes more challenging repertoire (up to Grade 8+).

Lovingly created by Wild Strings festival team and Poppy Harp, this book featuring pieces from established harp composers such as Park Stickney, Monika Stadler, Amanda Whiting and Savourna Stevenson, as well as our Wild Strings / Future Blend competition winners.
