Teaching is a vocation, a calling-- and one of the most important in the musical sphere. Therefore it is exciting news that Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, one of the UK's most important music colleges has announced a new and exciting course in pedagogy: The Teaching Musician.

Trinity Laban says: "The Teaching Musician is a postgraduate programme for experienced music educators and leaders. From instrumental/vocal teachers to ensemble leaders, animateurs and community musicians, the programme offers opportunities to reflect, engage with theory and research, and develop new skills within a community of practice. Through a series of weekend short courses, an online community and distance learning, the programme’s flexible design aims to be compatible with working life. ''

There are also exciting fellowships available which can reduce the costs for those wishing to enroll on this course.
