Sioned Williams’ influence extends to all facets of the pedal harp in the UK, revered by other players who admire her flawless playing as a soloist and as Principal of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. As part of the ongoing celebrations for her sixtieth birthday, she presents a history of English music for the harp, from Dowland in the Renaissance to the ‘English Rachmaninoff’, Edwin York Bowen.
