It was with great sadness that the UKHA learned of the recent death of Victor Salvi, He was 95. Himself a harpist, Salvi built his first harp in the 1950s. Since that day, Salvi has become synonymous with excellence in harp-making. Mr. Salvi also aided some of the world's great soloists, his Victor Salvi foundation organizing debuts in the worlds great concert halls for almost two decades, as well as building one of the most important collection of historic harps in the world.

The sympathies of the entire UKHA go to both the firm of Salvi Harps and  the Salvi Family.

A full memorial will be printed in the next edition of HARP magazine.
